Erin Wasson Bags Another Fashion Campaign for Hip Aussie Label One Teaspoon

Hot off the heels of her Esprit campaign, Erin Wasson has bagged another modelling gig fronting the new Love Cats collection for hip Aussie label One Teaspoon. It’s great to see one of our favourite models still booking great campaigns in her thirties – who says you need to be a 15 year old waif to bring in the big bucks?!

One Teaspoon was launched back in 2000 when designer Jamie Blakely – then only 21- decided there was niche in the market for old school rock and roll style. Twelve years later the brand now produces four collections a season – Swim, Basics, Fashion and Denim – and stocks in over 35 countries around the world. Celebrity fans include Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Alessandra Ambrosio and Rihanna and bloggers like Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast are constant pictured in the label’s pieces - pretty good company we’d say.

The brand is also the go to label for that Bondi babe – 90s grunge/ surfer look that inspires so many designers like Opening Ceremony and Alexander Wang. We’re also MAJOR fans of the super cool swim and beachwear.

Wasson clearly shares our enthusiasm telling us, “My obsession with OneTeaspon started when I discovered a pair of denim shorts while I was in Australia. Shooting with Jamie in LA was like spending an afternoon with a girlfriend. The whole experience has made me a fan for life.”

And the feeling is clearly mutual with Jamie Blakely gushing that Erin was, “So easy to work with. Erin is off the hook amazingly beautiful. She wears the clothes perfectly. It all just worked – the stars aligned!” So totally cool under-the-radar fashion brand meets fashion’s queen of laidback hip style. What’s not to love?!
