HOORAH! The campaign for Alexander McQueen’s autumn winter campaign has arrived and it by no means disappoints. The brand has teamed up with one of the biggest names in photography – David Sims – for next season’s exquisite collection.
The campaign stars model of the moment, Suvi Koponen, who worked with Sims previously on a shoot for French Vogue. The Finnish beauty models Sarah Burton’s latest offerings, a collection comprising couture-like elements in an extravagant collection focusing heavily on eveningwear.
Sims’ snaps of Suvi wearing the collection are a mash-up of futurism (we love the metal eye-masks and sleek hairstyling) with the soft, ethereal Alexander McQueen looks – feathers and layers of silk tulle emerging from metal belts and buckles in flower-bud like blooms.
