Forget Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress, Meet The McQueen-Inspired Gummy Bear Dress!

Have you seen the Alexander McQueen inspired dress made out of 50,000 gummy bears? It’s amazing! (If a bit of a waste of sweets.)

The dress is a remake of a rainbow feather dress and was made by [a href="">TWELV Magazine[/a].  As well as gummy bears it’s made out of steel wire, vinyl and is so heavy that the strength of three adults is needed to move it.

Inspired by the gummy bear dress, we've put together a collection of the best edible clothes for your delectation.

Lady Gaga's meat dress

Designed by Franc Fernandez and styled by Nicola Formichetti, Gaga wore this 50lb piece made entirely out of raw beef to the MTV music video awards back in 2010. The dress sparked a great deal of controversy and was condemned by animal rights activists, however she stated following the ceremony that the aim of the dress was to make a statement that we should stand up in what we believe in.

The dress confirmed Gaga's whacky taste in fashion and is arguably one of her most famous outfits ever, however sympathies go out to whoever had to sit next to her on the awards night.

Chantelle Houghton's lettuce dress

Lettuce introduce this super healthy creation. Made as part of a PETA campaign, this crispy dress is made out of lettuce. A healthy choice.

Roland Trettl's seaweed and octopus dress

This dress by world-class chef Roland Trettl was made of seaweed and octupus for a Berlin food fashion show at Berlin's communication museum along with 50 other crazy edible creations.

Candy dress

Forget Katy Perry's candy inspired numbers from the California Girls video. This sweet treat is made entirely from sweets!

Chocolate body suit

This rather risque number went down the catwalk at the Salon du Chocolat (Chocolate Fair) in Paris.

Chocolate Flamenco Dress

The body suit was joined by this more conservative - but 100% more fabulous - flamenco number made out of milk and white chocolate.

Olle Hemmendorff's Burger Trainers

Swedish designer Olle Hemmendorff was commissioned by Nike to create this quirky take on a classic Nike icon, made completely out of baguette, beef patties, pickles, tomatoes and cheese. Despite looking incredible, we're not sure how long these would last on a trip to the gym...

And finally...

After all the fabulous food couture, we thought a palette cleanser was needed. Take this lettuce suit (from the PETA campaign) as a warning: food clothing is not a good idea.
