Inside Jade Jagger's Wedding: The Bride's DIY Wedding Dress! Bianca Jagger's Dolce & Gabbana Suit! Kate Moss in McQueen!

02 July 2012 by

There's nothing better than a fash-tacular wedding and with a whole year since Kate Moss's three day festival nupitals, we've been gagging for another rock 'n' roll shindig. So praise be for Jade Jagger who got hitched to DJ Adrian Fillary this weekend in the Cotswolds and invited a hoard of rock royalty. We're talking Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, his offspring Lizzie Jagger and Georgia May Jagger, fashion legends Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall as well as model Kate Moss and the oh-so-fabulous Christian Louboutin. Talk about a showbizzy guestlist!

And what did the boho bride wear? Well, Jade did a Margherita Missoni and designed her own wedding dress (amaze), which was typically laid-back thanks to thin straps, a scoop neck and sparkling crystal clasps. Hmm, is a DIY dress the new bridal trend du jour? The 40-year-old jewellery designer accessorised the white gown with matching flowers in her hair, delicate jewels including a slim watch, that all-year-round golden tan and naturally tousled waves. But, quite frankly, our eyes weren't solely on the blushing bride...

Just check out this family portrait! The bride and groom struck a pose alongside Jade's parents, Mick and Bianca Jagger, who managed to upstage them with rather wacky get-ups. The Rolling Stone appeared to be channelling Willy Wonka with a lilac striped suit while his ex-wife looked chic but severe in a black Dolce & Gabbana jacket and skirt topped off with a frothy, feathery hat sat at a jaunty angle. And in true androgynous stylee, Bianca shook off her coat to reveal a suit and bow tie underneath (take a peek in the gallery above).

Meanwhile, Mossy looked hot to trot in an Alexander McQueen frock and her mini-model-in-the-making, Lila Grace, was flower girl. Aw! Jade's two daughters Assisi and Amba, from her relationship with artist Piers Jackson, were bridesmaids.

As for the after-party, Sir Mick performed at the reception and a huge white marquee was erected at the back of the swanky Aynhoe Park hotel so the merry partying could continue until the early hours of Sunday morning. It doesn't get more rocking than that!
