Kristen Stewart Wears Jeans To A Wedding With Robert Pattinson: Fab Or Faux Pas?

She might be the highest female actress in the world, but you can't get Kristen Stewart out of her low-key jeans. The Twilight-er rocked up to a swanky wedding this weekend and rather than popping a dainty fascinator on her head or slipping into a lacy Erdem frock, she took her tomboy style to new heights in a black tank top, blazer and skinny jeans. Oh yes.

Okay, so Kristen is notorious for walking the red carpet in a pair of trainers and we know she won't stay in a dress for longer than is absolutley necessary but when it comes to a couple's nupitals, surely it's only good manners to break away from your off-duty fashion formula and go a little fancy? The actress, who according to Forbes magazine commands $34.5 million per movie, did spend a good hour in a navy cocktail dress by Zac Posen (hoorah!) BUT she had to borrow it from the groom's sister. Oh dear, K-Stew.

And no, this wasn't a 'come in your sneakers' kind of affair. The 22-year-old flew to the US for the New Jersey wedding of Hollywood producer Kevin Turen and as well as being joined by her hunky boyfriend Robert Pattinson, the dapper likes of Andrew Garfield, Zac Efron and Will Kopelman were also in attendance.

As these Instagram snaps show, Kristen's fellow guests were trussed-up in their glad rags (and remarkably stayed in them) with even R-Pattz sweeping his locks into a slick quiff and is that a tie, shirt AND suit he's wearing? Clearly he's been on the blower to Frida Giannini again.

So what say you to K-Stew's nonchalant approach? Are you championing her commitment to the casual cause? Even if she is at such a formal event? Or do you wish she'd go a little more haute couture? We say make like your man and give Mr Balenciaga a call!
