Stretching from America’s East to West Coast the legendary Gumball 3000 rally finished earlier this month and Grazia's petrolhead correspondants Sofia Barattieri and Mai Ikuzawa (founder and creative director of the award winning Motilo.com) have give us a peek into the final leg of the coast to coast journey. For part one of this epic trip click here!
Sofia's Diary Part 2:
"Once we got to Vegas, Team Motilo celebrated with some much needed retail therapy. After driving almost 3000 miles, we couldn’t think of a more welcome sight than Louis Vuitton, Prada, Tom Ford and more.
Recharged and revitalized, we got ready to set off to the finish line on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles. Another push start had us on the road but this time we were sporting Alaia and YSL, and feeling much more in our element.
A trip through the scortching heat of Death Valley was all that stood between us and the finish line. Passing though Venice Beach we finally made it to Los Angeles and, after nine breakdowns, we could not have been more excited!
It was an adventure of a lifetime and to top it all off, Team Motilo won the award for most iconic car over 120 incredible cars including million pound Bugattis and Rolls Royce Phantoms. It felt so great to win after a long week on the road!!"
