We all know the power of the Kate Effect, right? The Duchess of Cambridge wears a pretty frock and within hours - nay, minutes, even SECONDS - the dress is sold out. So us Kate Watchers were on tenterhooks in anticipation of what Ms Middleton would wear for the Jubilee trip to Nottingham yesterday. And she certainly kept us on our toes, arriving with hubby and granny-in-law wearing the very same blue tweed coat that she'd worn less than three months previously.
By now, we're used to Kate's recycling ways but! This is a past season piece from M Missoni's Autumn Winter 2010 collection so is no longer on sale (boo!) and was sourced by the 'discount Duchess' from outlet Bicester Village. So you know what that means? The copy-Kates can't get their hands on the same item.
Until now! News has reached Grazia HQ that the two-year-old coat will be given a new lease of life, landing in stores this July - that's next month, peeps! You can't blame the Italian brand for making the most of that aforementioned Kate Effect and it'll certainly make a zillion die-hard fans very, very happy.
We've been informed the coat will retail at £670 so start saving those pennies. It will be available to buy at the M Missoni flagship store in London, Westfield White City and Shepherd's Bush as well as Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
So go ahead, Internet: crash out of excitement.
