Thought the Jubilee celebrations were over? Think again! The Queen's Diamond Jubilee tour is rolling into the East Midlands today and the Royals have just hopped off the train at Nottingham. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are joining Queen Liz for a series of engagements in the city and although the Duke of Edinburgh is still poorly after being taken to hospital for a bladder infection last week, we have every faith Wills and Kate will be more than merry company.
The Queen looks as resplendent as ever in a chirpy blue coat adorned with gold buttons, a matching hat with a frothy corsage, ladylike white gloves and her signature black Launer bag to match those super-shiny shoes.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is staying true to her recycling ways by repeating the very same blue dress coat that she wore for a trip to Fortnum & Mason in London three months ago. You'll remember the single-breasted, collarless design is by M Missoni, the Italian brand's diffusion line, and, as Grazia discovered, was bought at a discounted rate by our cut-price Kate from Bicester Village.
For today's event, the DoC has topped off the tweed coat with another previously-worn item: that navy blue fascinator we first saw on Irish Guard Armed Forces Day in June last year, created by London-based milliner Rachel Trevor Morgan.

It's not hard to see why the 30-year-old is fast earning the title 'Royal Recycler'. It was only last weekend that she was regurgitating her favourite pieces for a pal's wedding. She cracked out that Katherine Hooker coat we've seen before, teaming it with the Jenny Packham frock she wore in LA last year as well as a familiar fascinator and those now infamous nude LK Bennett heels. So as much as we are loving Kate's thrifty ways (and her granny-in-law will be pleased), we can't help but long for something a little, well, newer. Seriously, get Sarah Burton on the blower!
Anyhoo, we recommend you stay tuned as we bring you more royal shenanigans just in case the DoC does decide to mix it up a notch. She will be joining Queenie and Wills as they visit Market Square in the city centre before going into the Council House. The trio will also make an appearance on the balcony and attend a reception of invited guests in the ballroom this evening. How fancy! Will we see K-Middy in a ballgown? As soon as we know, so will you!
