REVEALED: Jennifer Lopez’s Tour Wardrobe Designed by Zuhair Murad!

Remember when Grazia Daily revealed that Beirut-based designer Zuhair Murad would be designing not one, not two, but ALL six of Jennifer Lopez’s stage outfits for her upcoming World Tour? We predicted lots of glitter, metallic tones and plunging necklines and now we have the first look at J-Lo’s tour wardrobe. Hurrah!

The extravanganza kicks off this Friday in South America and thanks to WWD, we know it will be filled with feathered skirts, feathered hats, a jumpsuit, a blinging cape, a bodysuit and oodles of dresses. Mr Murad has released two sketches for the outfits which showcase the singer's scarlet red dress and swooshy cape. The dress consists of a nude silk slip with thousands (!) of glittery red beads that were hand-sewn on to create a flame pattern (that’s going to require a lot of double-sided tape) while the overflowing chiffon cape will wrap around J-Lo like a very flashy Christmas present. How fab!

The Latino beauty first wore a Zuhair Murad creation back at the 2010 Met Ball and hasn’t looked back since. She wore the designer's creations at this year’s Oscar Awards, Golden Globe Awards AND on several American Idol episodes. Zuhair Murad even told WWD that Jen ‘keeps that first dress in the front of her closet’. Aw.

Of course, J-Lo isn’t the only fan of Zuhair Murad - Florence Welch wore one of his dresses for 2010’s Brit Awards, Cheryl Cole championed his designs during her X Factor days and Princess al-Taweel of Saudi Arabia opted for a creation to attend none other than Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding!

This July, the Lebanese designer will show off his couture collection in Paris, where he’ll also be launching an accessories collection. Bet La Lopez can't wait...

Jennifer Lopez will be playing at the O2 on October 22 as part of her Dance Again World Tour.
