So, he didn’t turn up wearing his leather chaps or covered in tattoos Stacee Jaxx-style, but Tom Cruise DID arrive at the London premiere of his new film 'Rock of Ages' wearing one of his wife's creations. Yep, as well as a pair of 'Top Gun'-esque Rayban Aviators and casual jeans, Tom chose a blue jacket from Katie Holmes' very own fashion label, Holmes & Yang. AW! Does that dispel any rumours of a split then?
Grazia Daily spent our Sunday patiently waiting on the red carpet in the middle of Leicester Square last night to catch a glimpse of the red black carpet outfits and we weren't disappointed. Mr Cruise was the first to arrive and spent a total of TWO hours talking to fans. Bless his cotton socks.
Meanwhile, breakout star Julianne Hough (aka: Ryan Seacrest’s beau and Derek Hough’s sister) looked lush in a black Valentino dress with white puffy sleeves. The 23-year-old revealed that her lapdance scene with Tom got cut for being too steamy, ‘It was a little too hot and sexy but I’ll always have that in my back pocket: I gave Tom Cruise a lap dance.' Quite the claim to fame!
Mary J Blige looked stunning in a black Catherine Malindrino dress and Malin Akerman went all out, sparkling in a gold Marchesa number teamed with strappy sandals, a sleek ponytail and a colour-popping red lip. The actress spoke out about kissing Tom too and er, sticking her tongue in his ear, saying ‘it took a lot of mints, a lot of mints. You never want to kill your co-star. But you can't really prepare for that. You know it is going to be a funny moment. I loved it in the script, and you get there on the day and you just go for it.’
In true rock star style, Russell Brand took his mother Barbara to the premiere and schmoozed his way up the red carpet. We even saw him taking photos with fan’s babies before he err, started stroking Grazia Daily's hand. All in all, it was a Rockin’ evening, filled with fans in mullet wigs and a performance from air guitarists! Rock on.
Rock Of Ages hits cinemas on Wednesday June 13.
