Megan Draper's Mad Men Outfits ROCK. We Look Back At A Very Fashionable Series Five...

The tears of Mad Men fans across the globe will be shed this week as another killer series draws to a close. Blubs. It’s been a good one, a sad one, a fun one, a trippy one…. But most of all, a very fashionable one. The show's costume designer Janie Bryant has once again struck a top style note, and after Joan's hourglass shift dresses and Betty's girly prom frocks ruling the the roost through seasons one to four (and inspiring women to rediscover their waistlines) it was leggy Megan's turn to pick up that retro fashion baton as Mad Men sequed swiftly into the swinging sixties. And boy, has the new Mrs Draper done it with conviction – we're talking blue eye shadow ‘n’ all.

In the past Mad Men wasn't exactly full of cool characters like Megan. You may recall Peggy attempted a small beatnik rebellion, but it was short-lived and, well, a bit lame. Megan, however, is so hip that she manages to make the usually suave scotch-downing Don look like a doddery old granpappy. Stroppy and rubbish at cooking she may be, but her radical new music tastes, flicky bob, dobedobedo polyester shift dresses, revealing evening gowns and I’m-a-serious-actress ensembles of super-clingy sweaters and cropped kecks are all vintage looks we’d like to revisit. So let’s do it now, because lord knows what’ll happen in series seven…. Scroll through the gallery above for some Megan's top wardrobe moments.
