TV BAFTA Awards 2012 With MAC: Lydia Bright, Olivia Grant and Emily Atack On Their Red Carpet Tips PLUS Kate Middleton's Style

Lydia Bright in Dynasty

What are wearing? This is a dress from Dynasty, which is a brand that's stocked at my shop - I'm lucky that I get first pick of the pieces which arrive but I still like to plan ahead. I love the glamming-up process and an awards ceremony is the perfect excuse.

What are your red carpet essentials? MAC lipgloss is a must-have, lash glue just in case and hair pins in case your up 'do falls out of place.

What's your advice for staying cool? Don't wear layers and choose something floaty. I was going to wear a beautiful dress covered in crystals but it was black with long sleeves so I had to change it at the last minute. I'm not wearing that in the heat!

What do you make of the royal style? I love Kate Middleton's conservative and classic outfits. She shops a lot in Reiss and I love Reiss - I've copied a few of her dresses actually! And wouldn't she look great with a pin curl in her hair?

Beauty products used? Face: Matchmaster foundation, Mineralize Skinfinish in medium, Buff blusher. Eyes: Paint Pot in Groundwork, Vanilla Eyeshadow, Haux Eyeshadow, Smolder Kohl Pencil, Fluidline in Blacktrack. Lips: Spice Lip Pencil, Ample Pink Plushglass (all by M.A.C)
