Inside Grazia HQ: The Top Five Things We Loved This Week
1. The Ragged Priest Tie-Dye Denim
Grazia Daily was on an APPOINTMENT in Topshop, honest! It was there that we came across a new label - don’t you just love it when that happens? We predict a riot when the festival-perfect reworked vintage pieces from [a target="_blank" href="http://www.theraggedpriest.com/">The Ragged Priest[/a] land in store.
We'll certainly be going nutty for the tie-dye brights, patched denim and '80s style studs and with prices ranging from £35 – £375, you can't go wrong...
2. Paisley Crazy
We've had an eye on paisley - aka: print-of-the-moment - ever since Raf Simmons and J.W Anderson said it was cool (both designers presented the print at their shows back in September). But we've been struggling with how to make it more 'now' than 'nana'...
Then Hannah Almassi, Grazia's Fashion Reporter, rocked into the office with a fluro print skirt. Now we're talking! We're smitted with this vintage print in an acid combo that's too hot to rock.
3. Skirts Over Trousers At Reiss
So we know it's a major trend for Autumn Winter but we haven't seen the high street take to the trend - until we popped into the Reiss press day. Could you? Would you?
I'm afraid the fashion desk are still unsure about this one but why not be the fashion jury and tell us how you'd do it?
4. Chloe Susanna Boots Are Back
Remember these? Let's take it back - waaay back to the winter of 2008 when the Chloe Susanna boots were favoured by Sienna Miller.
Cut to today and these beauties have been reissued! So we recommend getting them before they go. [a target="_blank" href="http://www.mytheresa.com/">www.mytheresa.com[/a] have a new order coming in soon so get on that waiting list!
5. Christian Louboutin In Conversation
We didn't realise how dreamy Monsieur Louboutin's French accent is until we spent over an hour listening to him being interviewed by our very own Paula Reed at the Design Museum. He dished on everything from where that iconic red sole came from to loving arched feet. Oh la la!
