Kate Middleton, how pretty you are! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are spending their Friday afternoon at a swanky luncheon celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at Windsor Palace. They've been joined at the World Sovereign’s event by more than 60 other royal types including twenty-four kings and queens, Princess Charlene of Monaco and the King of Jordan as well as the scrumptious Prince Harry.
So what's Kate wearing? A rose pink coat dress, that's what! Going for the minimalist approach with long sleeves, a pleated skirt and modest knee-length hemline, she looks terribly demure. She topped off the look with matchy-matchy accessories including champagne-coloured satin Prada pumps and a Prada clutch as well as a brooch, loose tumbling curls and a glass of bubbly. The whole thing is rather Jackie O-esque, no?
Emilia Wickstead’s Autumn Winter 2012 collection
The double crepe wool frock with an off-centre closure is made-to-measure and comes courtesy of Emilia Wickstead's Autumn Winter 2012 collection. You can bag it for the princessey price of £1,200 from www.emiliawickstead.com. Credit cards at the ready, girls! Talking to Grazia Daily backstage at her London Fashion Week show in February, the New Zealand-born designer revealed she admires the Duchess’s polished style and could see her wearing any number of her creations. Well, her dreams have come true! Again. Because this isn't the first time we've seen Kate wearing Wickstead - who could forget when she sported that glorious green coat on St Patrick’s Day in March this year? And Emilia has already dressed a handful of guests for last year’s Royal Wedding, including Kate’s cousin Lucy, Lady Kitty Spencer and Emma Parker Bowles.
