Inside Grazia HQ: The Top Six Things We Loved This Week
Our dreams came true when we arrived at the Monsoon-slash-Accessorize headquarters (which we might add is next to Mario Testino's pad) to find this full-size carousel in reception. How amazing?! The fun fair ride was lit up and swinging to its heart's content as we entered the building for the new season preview. But we forbidden for having a swing because it's 'an art installation'. BOO! We are now campaigning for a big wheel and candy floss stall to be erected in the Grazia HQ reception.
Rihanna-esque Bling at H&M
We were left bedazzled by the jumbo jewels at the H&M press preview for their new Autumn Winter 2012 collection. The edit was tight but there were accessories a-plenty and it was an absolute feast for us magpies.
A Crystal Harness, anyone?
Check out this crystal harness (oh yes) that will look great over a white shirt or a poloneck come next season. We also loved the black caps that are perfect for channelling the Rihanna within you. The H&M lips were sealed about the new designer collaboration that's set to land in November but by the cheeky smile on the PR's face, we can tell it's going to be good! (Oh go on, Tom Ford).
Isabel Marant Trainers
Back in December, I made the big purchase. Although I had to wait four painful months to wear them and do them proud, I am now the proud owner of actual real Isabel Marant trainers. JOY! I am now spending my days dodging the rain to protect their delicate suede finish and deciding what outfit I can work around the wedged gems. High-street versions are popping up everywhere if you want to get involved but save a few pennies. Just this week, we've seen them at Office and River Island and Topshop. So go go go!
Rock Your Baroques
You'll remember we brought you neon, ripped and white jeans in Grazia's denim special and now we are onto the next trend: BAROQUE! Check out these opulent jeans from M&S covered in a gold damask print – they're jeans are fit for a queen! Or a duchess... We will be wearing ours come Christmas time with a black tux jacket and rocker T-shirt.
A Royal Visit
And finally, we couldn't finish off the week without bringing you this genius snap of when HRH dropped into our offices. Curtsey please! Oh fine, it's just a cardboard cut-out in honour of Littlewoods' recent survey, but we're becoming rather attached. The survey revealed that the Queen is the most influential celebrity on UK women's style and I, for one, cannot get enough of those pearls and gloves *flounce*
