Paul Marciano, Claudia Schiffer and Ellen Von Unwerth attends 'Guess' 30th Anniversary Celebration
Who better to host the 30th anniversary party for denim uber-brand Guess than their muse and long-time campaign girl Claudia Schiffer! To celebrate this milestone and the launch of the ‘3rd Decade’ book of classic ad images, the blonde bombshell - who first shot to fame after being cast for a Guess campaign 24 years ago - dropped down to the George V Hotel in Paris to wow the fashion crowds with her bouncy hair, Susan Caplan vintage jewels and the fact that she doesn’t look a day older than that first ad!
Claudia partied alongside legendary fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who with Paul Marciano, the co-founder of Guess and total silver fox, has moulded the archetypal ‘50s Hollywood style of the Guess girl.
What we ate: Asparagus risotto and a big chocolate birthday cake cut by Claudia herself!
What we drank: Georges V cocktails “George Fizz”, “Silly Goose”, “Bellini” and plenty of champers.
What we loved: The always fabulous ‘styliste’ Catherine Baba – she’s given the kimono a complete cool-over. It’ll be our top new eveningwear choice.
