There's nothing better than snapping up a bit of fashion memorabilia for a good cause so if the latest downpour has made you feel glum, why not lift your mood with the thought of getting your hands on a signed Stella McCartney sketch! Sounds good, right? Right.
The Brit designer has donated the sketch as well as designer goodies to The Special Yoga Centre for their Raising the Roof Art Auction. Bravo! The charity offers yoga therapy to children with cerebral palsy, down's syndrome and epilepsy and although she's not an official patron, Stella has long been a supporter.
So as well as the original signed sketch of one of her many coveted designs, Ms McCartney has also thrown in a full yoga kit which will go under the virtual hammer for the next 10 days. Sweaty exercise might not be glamorous but these Stella McCartney for Adidas pieces will surely fash-up your look. Not to mention how good you’ll feel to know you have contributed to a good cause... Click here to start bidding pronto!
The special online auction is a warm up to the charity’s 6th Annual Art Auction which takes place on Tuesday 15th May at Notting Hill’s 20th Century Theatre. The proceeds from the auction will go towards the renovation of the charity’s new premises in West Hampstead and will establish The Special Yoga Centre as the largest yoga therapy centre of its kind in the UK.
The artwork will be auctioned by Sotheby’s auctioneer, Edward Rising with assistance from TV presenters Arlene Phillips and Gaby Roslin and with the support of honorary patrons, Samantha Cameron and Trudie Styler, the auction is going to be a gooden! Visit www.specialyoga.org.uk for full details.
