Jessie J attempting to say ‘I Love You’ in Dutch to a fan who had taken a coach from Holland to see the show, Will.i.am’s tweeting addiction (which has apparently gotten him in trouble with BBC producers!) and Holly Willoughby’s ‘I need wine!’ line to the audience after SIX, yes, six hours of filming – it can only mean one thing: Grazia Daily spent last Saturday at The Voice’s very first live show.
So we can reliably inform you that the contestants sounded amazing - Sir Tom Jones’ contestant Ruth Brown literally almost brought down the house with the amount of applause she received from the audience. As for the style stakes, after seeing Jessie J in all her print-tastic glory for several weeks, Grazia Daily was pleasantly surprised to see the coach in a non-garish white Dolce & Gabbana ensemble.
Her Blondie T-shirt comes from the Italian brand’s Spring Summer 2012 Icon collection and Jessie’s stylist, Karl Willet, cut it to turn it into a crop top. Genius! The tee was teamed with a Dolce & Gabbana white pleated A-line skirt with mirror detailing plus a pair of lace-up shoe boots, which were super-high but did not stop her from jumping about on stage.
We also LOVED Lana Del Rey’s all-white look which she accessorised with De Beers jewellery and some seriously pastel lilac nails. The singer performed her new single, ‘Blue Jeans’, and very coyly said thank you to the audience before sneaking off from the studio (watch her performance below).
BUT, our favourite fashion item of the night had to be from the brilliant Will.i.am. Did you see his Rollerboy Spike Christian Louboutins? Seriously, watch out Jessie…
