Festival Fashion 2012: What To Wear To A City Festival And Which Ones To Go To

The pictures from Coachella have kept us entertained and Grazia Daily is nothing if not on the ball with the very latest trends and if Kate Bosworth or Rihanna has worn them while wafting around or raving it up in the Californian desert, well, so much the better!

The basic combo of sawn-off shorts or a maxi skirt teamed with a rock chick jacket and a flash of colour can’t be bettered. This season though, we suggest you add in something tie-dye and some fierce studded shorts into the mix! Take a look at our top shopping picks in the gallery above and for this summer's inner-city festivals, check out the line-up below...

This multi venue, multi discipline festival takes place at the heart of hipsters spiritual home, Dalston in East London. Over the course of two nights in various bars and venues on and around Kingsland High Street (hence the name) DJ’s like Dan Beaumont of Disco Bloodbath fame and To the Lazer Cave as well as wicked bands like Slow Club (check them out you need their wistful crooning in your life!) all entertain you, as you gain admission to all 11+ venues with your trusty wristband!

Lady Rock festival – Manchester 26th May

The first time it’s being held, this urban festie is a one day tribute to girl power in musical form! Although in its first year, Lady Rock is organised by some of the people who promoted Manchester Pride festivals – and won awards for doing so, no less! Headlined by KT Tunstall and New Young Pony Club as well as tonnes of brilliant up and coming musical (female) acts.
