Kim Kardashian's Wardrobe Transformation For Kanye West: Meet Kimye!

23 April 2012 by

Ever since we spied Kim Kardashian at Kanye West's Autumn Winter 2012 show during Paris Fashion Week last month, we've had an inkling an oh-so-fash-tastic coupling might be a-brewing. Now, after weeks of close monitoring, the KK couple hit the New York streets this weekend to display their blossoming love for all to see.

What we've also noticed is Kim’s style has developed with the addition of her new beau and it's not the first time we've noticed a wardrobe transformation. Do you remember after the break-up of her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim was all about subdued, ladylike frocks and demure blouses? And when she was looking for love, she was all over the glitzy, super-sexy gowns? Well, now that Kimmy K is dating Kanye, she's shown a certain style affinity with the rapper-slash-designer.

Whether jetting to New York or sunning herself in LA, gone are Kim’s glam daytime bandage dresses and in their place are cool biker girl leather leggings worn with grey marl sweaters or sharp blazers and ripped denim jeans teamed with fringed tops – outfits that could've stepped straight off Kanye's catwalk, in fact. How handy to have a boyfriend who designs womenswear, eh? She's even taken to wearing her lover's initials on her lobes with dainty 'KW' earrings. Aw! So considering KW has a penchant for wearing womenswear himself (he wore a Celine shirt at Coachella last year, par exemple), will the matchy-matchy-ness blossom into some naughty clothes-swapping too?

Admittedly, we do have our doubts about Kim’s motives. Her ex-hubby and basically her whole family have names beginning with a K so is she with him for his initials as well as his fashion credentials? Either way, Kimye (as we are now officially crowning them) have us hooked!
