Jessie J's Style Makes Her The Print-cess On 'The Voice'

We FINALLY got to see Jessie J in a new outfit during this weekend’s offering of BBC’s ‘The Voice’ . Not that we weren’t loving her black American Apparel Disco Pant leggings, purple Vivienne Westwood shirt and purple dip-dye hair extensions, of course, but four weeks on, we were hungry for more.

The ‘battle’ shows allowed Jessie J to unveil not one but TWO brand new outfits which consisted of denim dungarees (very Alexa Chung) and a blue and gold T-shirt accessorised with a slicked back ponytail, which the songstress wore while training her protégées alongside Scissor Sisters’ Ana Matronic.

THEN came a stunning animal print playsuit with yellow detail (very vintage Versace) teamed with her signature shiny bob with a blunt fringe that she sported for the on-stage performances. Top marks, JJ! Especially as the star revealed she picks the outfits herself. 'I like to stay true to my style even if that does mean I look like a children's TV presenter!' Jessie told Grazia Daily, 'People assume that when you turn 21, you buy dresses from Coast and drink Rosé wine but that's not me.' And we love her all the more for it.

And as we know, Jessie is no stranger to a bright pattern. The quirky singer wore a black and white Aztec print leotard for the first ever performance on the first ever show (remember the coaches' rendition of ‘I’ve Gotta Feeling’?). Since then, La J has become our Saturday Style Obsession.

With the live shows starting next week and Lana Del Rey set to perform (YES!), we’re even more excited to catch our favourite new reason to stay in this weekend, especially now that Jessie’s foot has healed and she’s back in her amazing platform heels (not that we didn't love those sparkly brogues, though). Bring on next weekend…
