Chloe Green Launches Her Shoe Collection: 'Kate Moss Said Some Were Too High!’

If there’s one thing that we’ve learned this week, it’s that Chloe Green likes high heels. Like, really high heels. As we discovered last night when we joined the Topshop heiress at the super glamorous launch of her CJG (Chloe Jade Green) shoe line at The Arts Club in London.
Why, even her best buddy Kate Moss agrees. Chloe told Grazia Daily over cocktails and canapés at Prince Harry’s favourite haunt: ‘I love high heels! I do wear flats occasionally but for a night out it’s got to be high. She [Kate] thought they were great although she did say some of the shoes were too high!’

Sadly Mrs Jamie Hince (aka Kate Moss) couldn’t make it last night. But Chloe’s famous father Sir Philip was there looking extremely proud to celebrate his daughter’s foray into shoe design. He even had his picture taken in the massive shoe box style photo booth!

Chloe says her design inspiration was her friends: ‘I can never find what I’m after in the shops and decided I wanted to fill that gap in the market,’ Chloe told us. ‘I love shoes like any girl and so I sat down with a group of friends and we talked about what we all looked for in a pair of shoes and then I got designing.’ And there’s certainly no shortage of choice – with eight styles going on sale at Topshop including green glittery platforms, peach studded heels and strappy crème and metallic heeled sandals – all with a green sole. But Chloe’s heel of choice last night was the tan Mischa wedge which she paired with a tropical-print Carven dress.

And if you like what you see, you’re in luck, because Chloe says she’s all set to design another line soon! ‘I’d love to,’ she said.
