The world first caught a glimpse of Angelina Jolie's bling engagement ring that Brad Pitt co-designed when the couple attended a low-key museum event last week. It was such a subtle display - no Kim Kardashian-like flashing on the red carpet or in-yer-face fanfare - that many wondered whether it was the real deal (these celebs like to tease us from time to time, you see). But now the A-list actress has pulled-off a look-at-my-bling display that'll erase ANY doubts.

Oh yes, La Jolie stepped out of the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood yesterday afternoon and proudly showed off her ginormous engagement diamond to the waiting paps. She accessorised the bling with a sleek Michael Kors sheath dress and nude peep-toe wedges by Jimmy Choo (hello K-Middy!) plus a chic YSL handbag.

As Grazia Daily reported on Friday, Brad worked alongside jeweller pal Robert Procop to create the stunning ring, which took no less than TWELVE months to perfect. The elongated tablet-shaped diamond is inset into a thick band of matching stones and is reportedly worth an eye-watering $250,000. Elizabeth Taylor, eat your heart out!

In a statement released last Friday, Procop 's team revealed, 'Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realised over a year-long collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect' *wipes tear from eye* THEN Brad's manager Cynthia Pett-Dante confirmed the news, saying: 'It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time.'

This hasn't stopped Grazia Daily from speculating about the Brangelina nupitals and, of course, THE wedding dress. Our bets are on Donatella Versace or Jenny Packham working their magic... Cast your bets now, folks!
