It's a tough life wearing high heels everyday - even for the pros amongst us. We are, of course, talking about Coleen Rooney who was spotted wearing a variety of sky-high Christian Louboutin heels at the Aintree Races, but now needs to put her (probably swollen) feet up.
Yep, even WAGs need down time and but rather than pulling on her UGGs, Colleen opted for a pimped-up pair of Converse trainers (check them out in the gallery above). Yep, mother-of-one tweeted a picture of her black Chuck Taylor trainers with Swarovski crystals on the toecap with the message: 'Loving my converse @ConversebyGem, just what I need on my feet after 3 days at the races with sky high heels on.' Aw, bless.
We now know that Coleen customised her footwear at a local boutique in her home town of Liverpool, so with trainers having a moment, there's no better time to be design your own pair. You can either go online and have a play with the Converse customisation tool, try out Nike ID in store or online OR have a go at Sole Creator's endless design options.
If you're a fan of DIY and already have a favourite pair of trainers or a pair that needs sprucing up, simply add your own personal touch by stocking up on studs and spikes from Ebay or, if you are feeling brave, Studs and Spikes in Seattle ship internationally and have an endless selection of customising tools.
