It's the Aintree Ladies Day fashion parade!

Admit it, you can't look at the pictures from Aintree Races without hearing that Boots Christmas ad soundtrack Here Come The Girls...

Today is Ladies Day, which naturellement means the female attendees are ratcheting up the glamour factor to 11 (sometimes, 12).

The Queen of the Aintree fashionistas is of course, top WAG Coleen Rooney (below). What Alexa Chung is to Glastonbury, and Kate Bosworth is to Coachella, Rooney is to Aintree. A style leader who probably spends months planning her outfits for this festival of fashion, there's no doubt that every woman there is keener to see Coleen than they are to see any horses (horses? What horses?).

Yesterday La Rooney was resplendent in shocking pink trumpet-sleeved Roksanda Illincic, arguably the dress of the season. Today she was sporting a neoprene skater skirt with a nude lace top; with both looks teamed salon-fresh hair and the kind of 8 inch platform Christian Louboutin sandals that laugh in the face of the event's lawn-based venue.

This year, once again, there has been A LOT of fashion snobbery associated with Aintree. Which leaves Grazia Daily slightly baffled. Surely, getting dressed up in the latest trends and having a fun day out is the best part of being a fashion fanatic, no?

Anyway, we hope you enjoy these pictures half as much as the Aintree ladies seem to be enjoying themselves.

Brace yourselves; here come the girls...
