Sir Phillip Green's Daughter Unveils A Preview Of Her Debut Shoe Collection Chloe Jade Green for Topshop

10 April 2012 by

It was only a matter of time before Chloe Green followed in her father’s footsteps. The daughter of Topshop tycoon Sir Phillip Green has just revealed a sneaky peek of her debut shoe collection which launches in Topshop (natch) next month.

The label CJG (Chloe Jade Green) is inspired by her love of Louboutin’s right down to the green soles which will be a key feature of every shoe. Designed by Chloe herself, and with a high street friendly price tag, each pair will retail between £80 to £210 with super-size heels a given, obvs. A look at her website reveals a pair of sky-high gold peep-toe platform shoe-boots.

Developing her own shoe label was a natural fit for this Made In Chelsea star whose roots are firmly imbedded in retail. In fact, Sir Phil started out with a £20-a-week job for a shoe importer on London’s Old Street. ‘There are good things and bad things about working in the family business,’ Chloe told Grazia’s Paula Reed last year. ‘Dad and I are very, very similar. My mum often says she can’t take the two us together for long. She calls us the gruesome twosome.’

But we doubt Daddy was the only one giving this young lady a helping hand. With the likes of Simon Cowell and Kate Moss on speed dial, she’s not short of well-placed friends in high places. ‘She (Kate) thought they were great although she did say some of the shoes were very high.’

The collection will be available to buy on 17th May...
