So the news broke yesterday that Dior has finally appointed a new Creative Director - Raf Simons, who recently exited Jil Sander. The Belgian designer headed up the Milan-based fashion label for seven years, and his bold palette and modernist silhouettes made the designs a firm favourite with fashion experimenters like Tilda Swinton, Kate Bosworth, Drew Barrymore and Diane Kruger.
