Made in Chelsea's Millie Mackintosh Models Lipsy's VIP Collection

27 March 2012

Talk about the oldest dilemma in the book - you've got a big event coming up, you have to look amazing but your wardrobe is a bit short on outfit options. What on earth do you wear? Well now, highstreet giant Lipsy - whose dresses are frequently seen making the red-carpet rounds on the backs of various celeb fans - are riding to the rescue with their latest line of dresses, Lipsy VIP. Phew! Plus, they've managed to snag a true officionado of dressing to impress, Millie Mackintosh, whose jam-packed social calendar and wow wardrobe make her one of the biggest stars of hit TV show Made in Chelsea.

"I’m so excited to be modelling Lipsy’s new season VIP collection as the range is absolutely gorgeous!", she enthuses and having clapped eyes on some piccies, we'd have to agree. Bringing a little bit of haute to the highstreet, the collection features 17 dresses (that's a few of our Saturday nights sorted then!) all in a range of luxe fabrics and on-trend detailing - pastel shades [above right, £90] and thigh-high splits [bottom, £110] all feature, plus check out that hot tropical print on Millie's maxi dress [£130, above left], so summer 2012! There's also the super-feminine ruffled number [below left, £100] with intricate metallic beading on the bodice or the strappy white number [below right, £110] - both wear-it-anywhere dresses that'll sort those future wardrobe meltdowns.

As Miss Millie says, "The brand always makes such great eveningwear and I love the exclusivity of the VIP collection - all of the dresses would be perfect for any red carpet event!". Standout celeb-worthy dresses on the highstreet? Colour us convinced!

To see the rest of Millie's campaign pics, plus get a peek at the rest of the dresses, you can go to Lipsy.co.uk where the whole collection will be available to buy from Tuesday March 27th. You can also buy Lipsy dresses at Next.
