Best Dressed at the Empire Awards 2012: Agyness Deyn, Bonnie Wright, Hayley Atwell

26 March 2012

The Awards-season whirlwind is still blowing through town and last night another slew of cinema's most fabulous breezed up on the red carpet for the Empire Awards. And the outfits, you may ask? Just fabulous!

Quirky and colourful was order of the day for some forward-thinking fashionistas. Agyness Deyn was beauteous in a colour clash of red and pink (such a good colour combo with her new auburn do *sigh*) whipped up by bezzie mate Henry Holland. Now she's a bonafide member of the acting set thanks to her theatrical debut we reckon she'll be using her catwalk cool to make all those red carpets her new runway!

Also giving good colour was Hayley Atwell in a curve-hugging Roksanda Ilincic emerald number plus an eye-popping pair of orange Sergio Rossi heels (wardrobe envy alert!). Lovely lady of Downton, Joanne Froggatt ticked off several trends with her on-the-money Felder Felder outfit. Colour and pattern? Go Joanne! Newcomer Celine Buckens gets mega points for her super cute, and age appropriate, floral dress with candy coloured jacket - sweet chic!

Embracing full-on red carpet glam was Olivia Wilde in a diaphanous Emilio Pucci dress with some serious gemstone detailing (oh how we love a gemstone or twenty!) and Berenice Marlohe went for tried and true glamazon in a foxy Grecian-style red number.

Bonnie Wright did classic tailoring in a slick Dolce & Gabbana black suit whilst Hannah Arterton made her black trouser and beaded top combo a shade more romantic with looser tailoring, a loosely tied updo and some soft red lipstick. Laura Haddock arrayed herself in a demure Emilio Pucci lace frock whilst Jodie Whittaker went racy in a black and white leather minidress. Such a pick n' mix of lovely looks!
