Have you ever wondered how they those clever people at Chanel do it? There are two dreamy items which are permanently on our Chanel wish list – A classic black 2.5 bag and, let’s be honest, a black jacket. When we’ve got those, we’ll know we’ve made it!

Now the lovely people at Chanel HQ have captured on film, exactly how they do it. In this behind the scenes video, we get to see each of the stages that go into hand making the black jacket – from sketching, to pinning, all the way to the model fitting. And of course, the most chic Paris fashion house would have such classy classical music in the background!

This ties in perfectly with the most exciting exhibition EVER! Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld have photographed 100 of fashion’s movers and shakers in the iconic black jacket, to be published in a book The Little Black Jacket coming out later this year. And to launch it all? In true Lagerfeld style, he’ll be hosting an exhibition in Tokyo next week! Our Style Director Paula Reed will be there, so be sure to check out her tweets on Grazia_Live for all the latest from Tokyo.
