Ever since Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week presentation featuring luggage (set) carrying porters, we’ve been wondering just how all our favourite FROWers manage to pack for the shows.
And now, we have an answer! About Anna Dello Russo, at least. Fabulous fashion blog The Coveteur has shot the travelling Shows-wardrobe of the kooky Editor at Large of Vogue Japan during NYFW, and reports that her suitcases were ‘overflowing with fur, fluorescence and glitzy jewels’. We’d expect nothing less.
Obviously, we’re loving the headgear slung across the plasma screen tv, and the clashy crazy cacophony of prints hanging on that rail. And we’ve realised we need to seriously step up the excitement when it comes to our own approach to coats (currently coveting that fluoro pink Crombie).
We also massively approve of the wire basket of Scooby snacks, (although the Chanel cuffs are definitely the most delicious treatlets). Apparently ADR has a “daily swim”, so we say; snack away, lady!
Two other thoughts raised by the fabulous gallery of snoopy pics: firstly, there seem to be waaaay more pairs of shoes in basic black than we’d expect from the woman we most recently spotted in red and yellow Prada flame-back mules (although check out those hot-off-the-catwalk Miu Miu white rose print boots, yum). And secondly, that giant pile of chic paper bags and glossy boxes may offer some kind of clue as to how ADR manages to uphold her fashion mantra "never wear an outfit more than once" – what we want to know: are those shopping bags or gift deliveries, hmm?
Either way, we’re beyond jeals...
