Isn't Kate Moss kind? For us mere mortals who can only dream of dressing like the supermodel, Mossy has helpfully dished to The Telegraph about her top style tips. So from giving flares a go to overloading on jewels, it's time to listen and learn, ladies...

1. Keep the key pieces
'I'm at my most comfortable in jeans and a blazer, and I'm not afraid of wearing different cuts of denim,' Kate says. 'I love skinny jeans but I'm feeling a flare at the moment - I'm really liking a wide leg.'

2. Pick up a pencil
'The pencil skirt is one of the most useful items to have in your wardrobe as it's always saucy (especially in black) and seems to work for almost everyone.' See the catwalker wearing a Christian Dior Resort 2011 black leather skirt during Paris Fashion Week [above left] for some style-spiration.

3. Go retro
It's no secret Kate's a boho babe and she admits: 'I really love the late 1960s and 1970s, around the time of the Rolling Stones'. She's certainly not afraid of wearing a twinkling jumpsuit, par exemple, and often works the retro trend with a brilliant beehive and smokey eye makeup. 'I don't channel it in everything I wear, but it does seem to feed through most outfits.' Brigitte Bardot, eat yer heart out.

4. Dress for your mood
'Most of the time I dress depending on my mood,' says Mrs Moss-Hince. 'I just throw on whatever I feel like wearing at the time, which tends to come from the palette of black, grey or red.' Well, if it ain't broke...

5. Aim sky-high
It's not often that we see Mossy wearing flats - even when she's popping to the shops, the model tends to sport a heeled boot. 'There are some comfortable heels that you can run around in,' she says, 'but sometimes it's more important to be well presented than to be comfortable.' And bring on the stilettos!

6. And accessorise!
According to Kate: 'I always turn to the scarves, hats and sunglasses in my wardrobe'. But she warns that wearing too many accessories at once 'can look very bad'. Yikes. 'I don't have any strict rules, but my husband does say not to wear a hat with glasses because I look as if I'm trying to wear a disguise.' But she's rarely without a main staple: a pair of Ray-Bans. In fact, the star keeps a stash in her bag and 'lots of pairs at home because they seem to go missing'. And jewellery? 'I don't think you can ever have too much.' Hurrah!
