She’s the girl who made us wear dungarees and flats and inspired our hipster style, so what a treat to have our hands on the Vero Moda Spring Summer campaign starring Alexa Chung herself.
In the latest issue of Grazia, the Brit star tells us that ‘when I modelled for a living, I wasn’t asked for my opinion’ - but now, everyone wants a piece of her expert advice so you can hardly blame Vero Moda for snapping her up for another season. And as ever, Alexa looks gorgeous in the summery shots. Basically, we want everything we see, from her sunkissed tousled hair to that spotted floppy hat.
As much as we liked the Pre-Spring collection (and are planning on cracking out that lace cream midi skirt now that the sun has arrived), we really REALLY love this latest drop. The peter pan collars, the boxy T-shirts and the cute shifts all scream Chung coolness. And have you seen that incredible print pajama-like suit? J'adore.
The retro-esque range is inspired by the Fifites and Sixities (SO Chung) and with Mad Men’s new season just around the corner, we are ready to embrace some sexy silhouettes and rock the pastel trend with a plomb. Now all we need is to book our summer holiday.
