FRONT ROW at Chanel: Katy Perry, Laura Bailey and Leigh Lezark!

06 March 2012

One of the most hotly anticipated spectacles of any season, the Chanel show landed today, bringing with it a surreal intergalactic setting and a whole galaxy of admirers!

We've been hot on the heels of one Miss Perry as she's dashed from FROW to FROW and now she's popped up at Chanel working ladylike chic with her ice-cool coiff. We love the cute hat and the demure lace bustline - what a far cry from the leather-clad strumpet we saw at YSL!

Another beauty rocking blue (albeit not on her barnet) was Laura Bailey - her pastel perfect dress drew sighs of admiration from the Grazia office. Styled with a camel coat and black tights, she made the Spring/Summer shade work for colder climes. Styling herself in a more summery fashion, Poppy Delevigne went Boho in a Broderie Anglais-frilled top paired with a simple black maxi skirt and some serious sunnies.

Proving just why she's a Chanel muse, Elisa Sednaoui breezed in from Planet Fabulous in a stunning green coat worn over a cropped white blouse and monochrome maxi. We're taking notes. Someone else who's been doing their homework was Alicia Keys who wore a Chanel Pre Fall headpiece atop her simple outfit.

Leigh Lezark embraced the inter-planetary theme with a flash of silver on some serious heels, whilst Caroline Sieber's metallic finish jacket from the Cruises Antibes Collection (paired with some teeny tiny shorts) had us feeling all futuristic (and maybe just a little bit chilly!).

Sticking to the classics were Anna Mouglalis - in a stunning take on the Little Black Dress (all lace sleeves and red lippie, divine!) - and Virginie Ledoyen, whose nautical dress was a trans-seasonal treasure. Both women were perfect examples of the age-old fashion formula - if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Hands up who wants a seat on Chanel's space ship?
