Hooray, it's Chanel day! We've got our snazzy invite at the ready and are about to hit the grandest show of Paris Fashion Week. If the invite is anything to go by, can we expect a sci-fi-esque collection?

Naturallement, the Twitterati are beside themselves with excitement. Everyone from Anna Dello Russo and Poppy Delevingne to Grazia's very own editor (with *ahem* wet hair) are making their way to the Grand Palais for Karl Lagerfeld's latest spectacular. Meanwhile, Grazia's Beauty Editor, Liz Hambleton, is backstage watching the likes of Miranda Kerr and Arizona Muse getting Chanel-ified. Bring on the mega brows!

And here's a first look at the jaw-dropping set with enormous grey and mauve crystal stalagmites bursting out of the catwalk. It's like something from Superman, no?

Ooh, isn't it fantastical? After Heir Lagerfeld took us on Chanel Airlines for the Couture show, now he's jetting us into outerspace. Here's hoping for some futuristic frocks. Now where's that Kryptonite...

It really is a maze out there. Lynn Yaeger struggles to find her seat in the enormous lair...

...while Miranda is ready to take to the catwalk. Good luck, missus!

Our backstage sources tell us the models are sporting enormous chokers and matching cuffs with bejewelled eyebrows. Ke$ha would LOVE this.

On the FROW, a paparazzi scrum and a flash of blue tells us Katy Perry is in the building. Will she be doing a Florence Welch and singing from inside the crystals?

And the show has begun! We're seeing lots of chic-but-bulky black outwear nipped in at the waist with a bejewelled belt and worn with ankle-biting trousers plus futuristic heels. And just like the crystal set, the colour palette is black, grey and purple.

Here are those glitter-encrusted eyebrows in action. Would you? Could you?

Ooh, take a closer look at the fabulous lucite heels adorned with crystals. WANT.

And, of course, there's lashings of classic Chanel tweed. J'adore.

Stella Tennant is doing her thang and looking typically fierce. We're rather liking this Chanel galaxy.
