Karlie Kloss Returns to the Catwalk for Anthony Vaccarello's show in Paris

You'll remember fash land's disappointment upon hearing Karlie Kloss would be missing New York Fashion Week due to a big "opportunity" that couldn't possibly be missed. We'd hoped to see her popping up in our fair capital or at least in Milan, but alas, this season's catwalks have been noticeably Kloss-less.

Until now. The leggy model appeared at the Anthony Vaccarello show in Paris last night working a navy duchesse satin suit — hurrah! So why did Karlie pick the show of a relatively unknown Belgian designer to make her return?

As The Cut reports, Vaccarello got some buzz when he won the ANDAM prize last year and has since gotten lots of support from top models like Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru, and Abbey Lee Kershaw, all of whom reportedly asked to walk in his spring show.

Well, whatever the reason, we're delighted to see her back where she belongs.

Karlie Kloss To Miss New York Fashion Week

She’s normally one of New York’s most watched models… but this season Karlie Kloss will be stepping off the catwalk. In the Big Apple at least.

The supermodel confirmed on Twitter last night that she’s missing New York Fashion Week, saying ‘No one is more bummed than me to be missing out on all of the NYFW fun – sending all my love to NYC! Xx’ The last time we saw Karlie on the catwalk, she was flying high for Chanel and strutting her stuff for Christian Dior during Couture Week in January.

KK's spokesperson has said that her absence is due to an ‘engagement that has come up’ but that it’s ‘very likely’ that Kloss will talk in Milan and Paris. That leaves people speculating that she’s been signed up to walk exclusively for one of the big shows – or that she’s doing something with Victoria's Secrets after walking in their fashion show for the first time earlier this year.

Whatever it is, we can’t wait to see…
