Updated 06/02/2012: WATCH the Marni For H&M Campaign

We've seen Sofia Coppola's highly anticipated Marni for H&M campaign starring Imogen Poots and now the video has arrived. Set in Marrakesh to Bryan Ferry's Avalon, the mini-movie is as dreamy as expected. It sees the Brit actress soaking up the sun, driving past palm trees and kissing a hunky hunk in the swimming pool, all while wearing the collection's beautiful bold prints. 'I wanted to do something artful that would represent Marni,' Coppola explains - and it's certainly that, with a true bohemian vibe.

As for being a fan of Marni, the director reveals: 'I always thought they made interesting fashion and that the prints were always unusual and they really have their own look – it doesn’t look like anything else.' Watch the full version of the video above and as if that wasn't enough Marni-ness, check out a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot below.

Updated 30/01/2012: Is Imogen Poots Fash Land's New Muse?

Imogen Poots first came to our attention thanks to her role as a zombie in 28 Weeks Later, but now she's set to take over Fash Land. The Brit actress has just been announced as the face of H&M's latest high-street-meets-high-fashion collaboration — this time with Marni — and she's looking suitably sultry in the new campaign.

Imogen has certainly come a long way since her acting debut in Casualty. Most recently, the 22-year-old starred in Jane Eyre with Mia Wasikowska and man-of-the-moment Michael Fassbender and later this year, we’ll see her star alongside Gossip Girl hunk Penn Badgeley in the Jeff Buckley biopic Greetings from Tim Buckley. And he’s not the only man candy Imogen will get to work with. Miss Poots has also bagged roles alongside James McAvoy, Jamie Bell and Orlando Bloom. It’s a hard life, eh?

And she's been making her mark as a fashion muse too. In August, Imogen made her modelling debut for Chloe's fragrance campaign, then we spotted her schmoozing with Emma Hill at Mulberry's 40th Anniversary celebration in New York last September. As for her latest triumph, the Marni for H&M campaign was shot by fashwan-slash-film royalty, Sofia Coppola and was set in a stunning Marrakech location. Meanwhile, Imogen looks divine showcasing a pair of metallic printed trousers and a matching blouse with a white Peter Pan collar. It's sure to catapult her into bohemian style crush territory — and just look at those super-brows and pouty-pout! She looks rather Kate Winslet-esque, no?

The Marni for H&M collection debuts in stores across the globe on March 8th (any chance, we can just skip February?) and we’ve got our eyes on the brand's signature luxe fabrics and tribal prints already. Marni’s Creative Director, Ms Castiglioni has revealed that we can expect ‘the same level of  quality craft and attention to detail Marni is known for’ and all for prices that will only be double-digits. Here's hoping we'll look half as good as Imogen in those metallic prints...
