Christian Louboutin Designed the Shoes for SIX London Fashion Week Shows!

23 February 2012

You’ve got to admire Christian Louboutin’s work ethic.  Not only did he design the shoes for six catwalk shows in New York, over the past few days we counted SIX London Fashion Week shows that he had designed shoes for too!

Check out in the Loub beauties in the gallery above  - and remember this is on top of the shoe guru putting out his own collection!

From the awe inspiring patchwork beauties at Michael Van Der Ham, to Jonathan Saunder’s  ‘40s inspired colour block  mules, Monsieur L has been one very, very  busy boy.

Plus, as you will have seen in this week’s Big Fashion Issue, the lovely stiletto-master has loaned Blake Lively his ENTIRE 20th-anniversary capsule collection for the season. Can you imagine £24,445 worth of Loubs turning up on your doorstep?

Our Louboutin HQ insider informs us that the man himself is currently M.I.A in Brazil, working on the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, no less.  Then he’s off to Paris where he has not only designed the shoes for another six collections, but has also been working as the Guest Director at legendary Cabaret Club Crazy Horse, where he has collaborated with the likes of David Lynch to art direct a show that will be staged over Paris Fashion Week.

Phew – Christian, we do hope that you have a holiday somewhere fabulous booked very soon.  God knows you deserve it!
