If Frida Giannini forgot to post you an invite to Gucci's Autumn Winter 2012 collection, fear not! The super-luxe brand is live streaming their catwalk show on www.gucciconnect.com so you can see the latest offerings the moment they hit the catwalk. So while we wait for the full show report direct from our Fashion Editors who are currently on the FROW in Milan (see their excited tweets here), let's take a look at our favourite looks...

The show's opening delievered another dose of black velvet - this time on a slinky floor-length skirt. It was teamed with a sheer blouse under a sharp jacket adorned with military-like gold buttons. And check out those Ozzy Osbourne-style sunnies!

Joan Smalls strutted her stuff wearing a form-fitting frock with a high collar, clinched at the waist by a thick belt and topped off with peep-toe ankle boots. Fierce, much?

Next, a splash of floral prints arrived in autumnal golds, browns and forest greens on floor-length skirts, shift dresses and one fabulous loose-fitting pajama suit. Take note, Alexa Chung.

This floaty halter-neck maxi dress had Florence Welch written all over it, especially when that feather print flutters to look like flames. There's certainly a more boho vibe to the collection this season, with a touch of gypsiness thanks to the billowing lace-up blouses, tasselled belts and references to nature.

As for the accessories, we're treated to shiny knee-high riding boots - some heeled, some FLAT! - brocade bags and more than a few leather gloves, not unlike the pair Rihanna wore at the Brit Awards last night.

Ooh, yum. We're rather in love with this moss green number with an elegantly draped skirt and high ruffled neckline. Retro-tastic, no?

And let's discuss the beauty look, shall we? The model army looked super sophisticated thanks to porcelain skin teamed with blood-red lips, their hair worn loose and flowing but pulled away from their faces in a centre-parting.

Hugh Hefner would LOVE this.

Then came a splash of burgundy and some saucy lace, followed by layers of blue and green ruffles.

Well, hello green goddesses! Might we see one of these stunners on the red carpet come Oscars night? Please make it happen, Jessica Chastain!

And finally, the show came to a close with a parade of Gucci-glam black gowns covered in twinkling embellishments, displaying slender limbs through sheer chiffon.

And there you have it. Bravo indeed, Ms Giannini.
