Victoria Beckham, who has had an incredible start to the year so far with her first Victoria, Victoria Beckham diffusion line collection selling at the speed of light as soon as it hit Harvey Nichols and Net-a-porter.com, plus putting on her biggest ever show at New York Fashion Week earlier this week has been named as an international ambassador for Britain’s “GREAT” campaign! Aimed to help promote the best of Britain around the world.
VB’s involvement in the campaign was revealed the day after her autumn/winter ’12 show at an exclusive photo shoot, shot by Patrick Demarchelier for the launch of a “GREAT”- branded subway train at New York’s Grand Central Station. As a “GREAT” ambassador, Victoria will play a leading role in the “Fashion is ‘GREAT’” element of the campaign, in a bid to highlight the UK as the top place in which to visit, study, and invest and as Victoria’s fashion empire goes from strength to strength she is the perfect woman for the job! Her ready-to-wear main line collection is handmade in the UK and with over 300 stockists worldwide VB is contributing to the whopping £20 billion that the British fashion industry contributes to the economy each year.
