Tattinger champagne cocktails, moreish canapés and fashwan-istas aplenty? It could only be another star-studded BAFTA event. With London Fashion Week fast approaching and the awards season well under way, we’re ready to give our frocks and heels some serious mileage.
So on Wednesday night, we hot-footed it to the opulent Beaufort Bar in the Savoy Hotel for the Orange and Esquire pre-BAFTA party. We were greeted with Gin and Champagne concoctions and got stuck in the cloakroom queue behind David Gandy (not that we're complaining).
We nattered to Orange Rising Star nominees Adam Deacon and Tom Hiddleston, who was clad in an all-black ensemble, and War Horse star - no, not Joey the horse, but Jeremy Irvine, who was rocking leather and perfectly coiffed hair.
Fashion designer Matthew Williamson was also at the shindig, showing off his newly long-barnet and Mr Gandy was, naturally, flocked by an array of women. Not us, of course, we stayed perfectly composed *ahem*
Voting for the Orange Rising Star Award closed earlier this month so who did you vote for? Find out who the winner is this Sunday at the BAFTAs. We'll be bringing you a live blog from the event so stay tuned to this very site!
