Could the uber-cool fashion label Band of Outsiders choose anybody more appropriate than Michelle Williams to model their retro-tastic Spring Summer range? We think not.
Aside from her Oscar worthy credentials (she's been nominated for My Week With Marilyn), Michelle's wide-eyed, child-like, tomboy look makes her perfect for the role.
Following hot on the footsteps of Kirsten Dunst, who modelled Band of Outsiders Spring Summer 2011 collection, the adorable actress proves that Kiki-Dee isn't the only kooky actress who has the little-girl-lost act down to a T. In fact, she may even do it a little better...
The stunning pictures, taken in Los Angeles, have been cleverly shot in a '70s Polaroid style and the whole shoot has a Picnic at Hanging Rock-inspired feel, complete with funeral hearsts, filing cabinets and digging up Hitchcock's grave. Okay, we know it sounds a little wacky, but just go with it. Have a scroll through the gallery above and we defy you not to love!
The hip New York Label is known for its quirky yet calm style and Michelle is the epitome of this. So how does she manage to nail the cuter than cute and prettier than pretty look while being uber-cool and not too twee? We’re not too sure – but that honey blonde pixie crop sure helps!
Of course, this is not the first time that Michelle has modelled for the Band of Outsiders designer Scott Sternberg – she also featured in the ads for his Autumn Winter 2008 range. So this is a triumphant return for La Williams, who is undoubtedly the girl of the moment in Tinsel Town.
The star, who started out on Dawson's Creek, has long been on our fashion favourites list and her sartorial status forever keeps us on our toes. We've been trying our hardest to guess what she'll be wearing for the Oscars - we have our fingers crossed for another Victoria Beckham number, although we do know she has a penchant for all things Erdem... What this space – we sure will be!
