It’s all about keeping it in the family this week… Hot on the heels of Cindy Crawford’s 10-year-old daughter Kaia being snapped up as the face of Young Versace, another celebrity offspring has landed a modelling contract.
Tali Lennox – daughter of rock and roll royalty Annie – has been signed as the new face of Karen Millen -- and doesn't she look faaabulous? The 19-year-old, who has walked for designers including Christopher Kane, Prada, Missoni and most recently, Alberta Ferretti is unveiled in gorgeous promotional shots for the Brit brand's Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. The collection features tropical prints, bold colours and super bright accessories, all of which we WANT, obvs. We’re especially loving the high street chain’s sheer sleeveless floral shirt, BTW.
Tali, who left school before her A levels to take up modelling, says, 'I was never really the type who wanted to be at school. I don't believe in the pressure of having to follow a certain timeline.’ The English rose adds, ‘It's great when you're doing a shoot and it's something bizarre; you can feel really confident in a different character.' Sigh, why isn’t our mum a rock legend?
You'll remember last year’s Karen Millen campaign was fronted by the oh-so-cool Jessica Hart, so what do you make of Tali as her replacement? Pop your verdict on the KM campaign in the box below...
