American mid-market Ann Taylor is certainly tapping up the Hollywood big hitters. Following hot on the heels of campaigns featuring Demi Moore and Katie Holmes, the latest adverts feature Kate Hudson. The actress is shown relaxing in one of the brand’s classic summer dresses, set off with a neon belt.
So how does Kate feel about taking over as the Ann Taylor girl? “I am thrilled,” Kate, 32, has said. ”I love fashion, and their new spring collection is so stylish and hip and colorful! As a young girl I looked up to the sophisticated style of Ann Taylor so it’s been very cool to see how the brand has evolved to meet the changing needs of modern women.”
Ann Taylor clothes aren’t stocked in the UK yet but, similarly to J Crew and Banana Republic before they hit these shores, it’s the type of shop that UK visitors frequent when they head to the States for their classic work-wear staples.
