A Week in Jessica Alba’s Wardrobe: From Gucci to Erdam Connelly

It has been a glorious style week for Jessica Alba. It all began with the uber-feminine, pale lilac Gucci gown that she wore to the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. Didn't she look glorious? The actress teamed it with a pretty Roger Vivier clutch and blingin’ Bulgari diamonds.

At Harvey Weinstein’s post-ceremony shindig the same night, La Alba slipped into something a little more party-tastic: a bejewelled strapless dress, also by Gucci, with Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and the same clutch. Although we must say, it doesn't look entirely comfortable - there can't be a whole lot of give in such a figure-hugging number - but then we are but mere mortals. Jessica, meanwhile, looks typically glossy.

Since then, Jessica has been spotted all over town looking smashing. After giving birth to two adorable tots, the actress' style has become more grown-up and utterly sophisticated - and the reinvention continues with her new winter wardrobe. We're loving the fitted navy trousers she was sporting yesterday with a bright floral top and one-buttoned coat. It's oh-so-Parisian, non?

Next, Ms Alba popped out in a get-up that is brilliantly Spring/Summer 2012. Take note of those summery clashing brights and fitted trousers covered in a bold floral print (they're by Erdam Connelly, dontcha know), the dip-dyed green coat  from Doo.Ri's Pre Fall 2012 collection with matching strappy Barbara Bui sandals, polished off by a ladylike black bag from Christian Dior. It's so upliftingly vibrant, it's just made our day!

Also this week, Jessica hit the ABC party wearing another Spring/Summer 2012 hot-cake: the feminine suit. This silk monochrome suiting is going to be HUGE news for next season and Alba wisely wears hers with a black T-shirt and snakeskin pumps. We're awarding top marks for the paired-down and uber-elegant look. Nice one, J-dog.

Last but not least, the American beauty got back to cool with a pretty-slash-grunge ensemble consisting of flat biker boots, a simple black dress, matching blazer and so-hot-right-now wide-brimmed hat. The accessorises provide a boyish take on the classic LBD, which only an ultra-feminine chica like La Alba can pull off.

As ever, we’re in awe of your sartorial swishes, JB. Have a scroll through the gallery above and let us know which of Jess' outfits is your fave...
