India Rose at Grazia Daily's Blog Brag night
So you may recall all the fun we had on our first ever Grazia Daily Blog Brag night, which we hosted at the Speakeasy espresso and brew bar in Soho a couple of weeks ago. Fashion bloggers from all over the UK came down to say 'Hi' and to do what they do best: look completely awesome.
There were many great outfits on the night, from black lipstick with a polka dot coat to a glorious techicolour Picasso-face bomber jacket and of course, leopard, leopard, leopard. There were even isolated outbreaks of Versace for H&M, which had only just hit stores that morning, for goodness sakes.
So everyone looked extremely gewd, but one blogger immediately caught our eye, with her sexy, tomboy low-key cool (you know you look good when you can outshine the rest of the room wearing trainers).
Introducing... India Rose (yup, good name). The Chester-based blogger (top) is, wouldntchaknowit, also a photography student and personal stylist, and of course, her own best advert. We loved her chunky knitted beanie, Topshop leather jacket (black jacket, chocolate brown sleeves!), Alexander Wang knitted joggers, and yep, Vans CA sneakers.
And if you like India's look, you'll love her blog, which features tons of pics of the girl herself in her latest favourite fashion pieces, whether that's a khaki parka worn with barely-there miniskirt and combat boots, or skinny flares and a silk breast-pocket shirt. India's style seems to be jeansy and sexy and pretty inspiring for what to wear when you don't want to look like you're trying too hard, (while also looking pouty and fringey and utterly gorge).
The blog also features India's latest style tips, must-have fashion pieces moodboards, favourite magazine shoots and labels to watch, and possibly the best Halloween make-up we've EVER seen. BUT there's another part of the blog that we think is completely genius. Once India tires of her own clothes - she sells them off! And at pocket money prices! So once you've fallen in love with her latest look, you just have to sit back and wait for her to post it online in the India Rose Shop. Naturellement, these items sell FAST, so we recommend checking back often.
Although, be warned: India Rose is Grazia Daily's new obsession, so we'll probably have got there first.
