So - you maaaay have noticed - the weather is pretty crappy right now. But forget checking in for a meteorological forecast, most mornings we simply wake up and wonder: what would Alexa Chung wear today? [No, seriously, why isn't there an app for that?*]
Anyhoo, here at Grazia Daily HQ, we are nothing if not dedicated style stalkers, so today we tracked down The Chung to find out how her summer-friendly girly stylings were coping with the sudden onslaught of drizzly rain and general "meh"-ness that we call winter.
Et voila... Seems Alexa's reverted to tomboy mode to combat the cold, and check out her seriously cool layered look. Showcasing the kind of jeans-piration (see what we did there?) that we usually expect from Kate Moss, we're already thinking pointy pixie buckled-strap boots and skinny jeans could be our new going-to-a-gig look this season. Note the marl grey hoodie (good neutral basic - and wet weather hair saviour) and the khaki green combat style jacket (this season's vintage store essential) layered up fashion blogger-style under an of-the-moment leather-panelled black coat.
Then just add in popped-out-from-a-photo-shoot fluro pink nails and a majorly high-end jewelled clutch bag to show that you're dressing down as a stealthy style statement rather than out of slobbish indifference. And there you have it: low key cool for low temperature days. And you know we'll be bringing you further Alexa winter style updates as we get them...
