It’s PAYDAY! Hip hip hooray! (etc)

25 November 2011 by

So it’s nearing the end of the month now, in fact only a few hours till the end of Friday and the last weekend of November. Now, of course, there are Christmas prezzies for the old friends and family to think about – right. We’ve thought about it and decided to put it off for a few weeks in favour of a festive fashion splurge to make sure we have all the fabulosity in our wardrobes for the party season. (We’re sure our invitations will be arriving soon. Any day now…and day…). Ooh – and for even more ideas of where to spend your pocket money, why not look in our payday special in the mag on Tuesday!

 Sam Edelman boots

1 Sam Edelman boots. We are OBSESSED, we tell you, wholly preoccupied with these boots and can’t stop going on my-wardrobe every day to see if they have re-stocked them in our size yet. We can’t think of a single garment they wouldn’t go perfectly with, from mini frocks, to jeans to shorts and tights . . . the list goes on. £215

 Acne leather trousers

2 Acne Leather trousers. We can’t think of a more functional, practical winter garment that ranks quite as highly on the glamometer as these ultra-marine blue leather trousers from Swedish uber band, Acne. OK, so they are a touch on the pricey side, but, come on ladies, they are an investment for life! £890

Reiss cable knit jumper

3 We admit it, we’re typical media clichés, we work on a magazine and we love watching Danish detective show, The Killing, on the weekend. We’ve overlooked her disastrous personal life and decided we want to be Sarah Lund, complete with this cable knit jumper (jazzed up with leather trews, naturellement). £119

4 It’s nearly Christmas time. This, in our book means glittery handbag time. Ooh la la! £350

5 This Tibi beanie hat is makin’ us smile, AND the majority of body heat is lost through the head, remember, so it’s practical as well as super cute. £60 net-a-porter
