GUESS WHO Will Turn On Stella McCartney’s Christmas Lights this Year??

Stella McCartney takes a bow

Stella McCartney has had one heck of a good year in 2011. Each of her catwalk shows is more rapturously received than the last, her dresses keep popping up on every red carpet going – (Hello Kate Winslet) as well as those lust-worthy Autumn Winter 2011 evening gowns with the dotty sheer panels. 2012 looks set to be even more epic, as the Brit designer sees her name splashed over the Olympics as well as a couple of other new outposts slated for next year.

Recent announcements that she will be showing a mini collection at London Fashion Week in the New Year and that there will also be a ‘World of Stella’ pop-up at Selfridges in January, followed by the opening of a new flagship store in South Kensington, to include the first standalone Stella Kids store. Blimey. We wonder if the woman ever sits down at all!

Catherine Tate as 'Nan' turning on the Christmas lights for Stella McCartney

Best of all, for shallow, superficial showbiz heads like Grazia Daily - It’s going to be December next week, and as such, the now official start of advent for fashion people is the ceremonial turning on of the Christmas lights at Stella McCartney’s Bruton St shop! Hurrah! (we must remember to take our most chic winter coat to the cleaners in time).

But who! WHO ! ! will do the honours this year? In years gone by, Stella has called upon the services of Little Britain (2005)The Mighty Boosh, (2009) and last year, the foul-mouthed Nan, from Catherine Tate. We have one of Stella’s Festive pink invites in our inbox – and we can give you the following clues. She’s a comedy legend in the Fashion World, her signature look is Lacroix, although for her comeback this Christmas, she’s been rumoured to be turning on to Stella McCartney and she’s never without her chain-smoking sidekick, Patsy.

Can you tell who it is yet? ? ?
