Donatella Versace arrives at H&M for the opening of Versace for H&M on a pink carpet
Love Versace? Failed to bunk off work in time to snag a piece of the last Versace for H&M collection? Well, today could bring the news you’ve been hoping for, that you won’t have to go without for long because Donatella has thoughtfully designed ANOTHER collection – a pre-spring one for the Swedish retail giant, that will be out on January 19th. Whoo-hoo!
Even better than that, it’ll be available online rather than in stores, in the countries that have an H&M e-commerce website (including Great Britain that is) plus Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Phew! It seemed to us that last week’s collection was a resounding success, with bits selling out everywhere - nary a scrap left to be found in London’s H&M stores. Donatella herself was there to open the doors of the Regent St flagship store in London, a fact which would have undoubtedly resulted in a terrible stampede, had it not been for the many security and H&M staff who managed the queue down into smaller blocks with their wristbands. We tell you – it was like a military operation!
Here we have a sneak peak of the goods, from nitrolicious blog of what the collection will entail - rapspberries seem to feature heavily, on shoes AND shorts!
Unfortunately, the website for the shop did crash on the day, so let’s hope they have got an extra big server in place before January 19th rolls around!
